Before You Begin

System Requirements

Community Organizing: Ground Rules for Grass Roots Organizers is a PC-based program that may or may not run on a Mac system.

What your PC will need to run this program:
The minimum system requirements to run this program on a PC: Windows 98, Pentium III, 400 mhz, 128K RAM memory and a DVD player.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 - browser. This is a free downloadable upgrade for Windows 98 users at:

Video Captions:
The video segments are open captioned. If you do not see the captioning, you may have to set Windows Media Player as your default player. If you have difficulty running the program or seeing the video, consult your center's computer systems staff first.

How to Begin the Tutorial
Click on the words Community Organizing on the opening menu screen or on the links below.

Tutorial Arrangement:
This computer-based program is arranged in sequential chapters (Chapter 1, then 2, then 3, etc.) There are 11 chapters with quiz questions.
